The Big Picture
The Big Kahuna of US Airports ... just hope the wind doesn't blow, or you may never leave.
Places to Eat
Places worth eating / getting a decent meal
- Terminal F: There's a good Greek/American takeout place across from gate F10. it's where all the crews eat; the Gyro is great, as are all the breakfast items.
Wifi
Where to find a wifi connection
- Terminal F: You can often ride the wifi from the Red Carpet club in Terminal F. It's fee for service, but you can ususally get the signal from outside the door or along the wall by the shoe-shine stand.
- There's also free wifi at the Northwest / Continental club in Term E; you might be able to hop on from outside the club door.
Getting Through Security
Tips for getting through security quickly
- Terminal F: There's another security gate at the far north end of Terminal F that is, at times, open. When it is, it's a much shorter wait.
- United Terminal: There's a two-gate security point to the far left of the terminal as you face check in and security. It leads to the bridge that connects the United terminal with terms E, F, G etc., but it also connects to the main United terminal. The line here ... no matter how long ... is always shorter than that for main security, and it's really no extra steps.
